Double Olympic medal winner Richard Leman, chairman and co-owner of Gold Group – a member of the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) – has been chosen to run in the Olympic Torch Relay.

Richard, who captained the Great Britain Hockey Team and was part of the team that won Bronze in the 1984 Olympics, also won Gold at Seoul in 1988, He has also clocked up a total of 228 caps for international matches. He is currently a director of the British Olympic Association and President of Great Britain Hockey.

The ARC said it was proud to have the only Olympian in recruitment among its membership. And Gold Group said: “To mark the occasion we will be lining the streets to watch his section of the Olympic Torch Relay.”

He will run his leg of the Olympic Torch Relay on 17 July in East Grinstead. We’ll be catching up with Richard after his run to hear how it all went.
