    Adrian Marlowe

    Is the founder and Managing Director of Lawspeed, the recruitment law specialist consultancy, and chair of the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC).

    Adrian qualified as a lawyer in 1978. He has been involved in various legislative consultations including for the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, Managed Services Company legislation and the Agency Workers Regulations. An expert on IR35, employment law and contract models within the context of recruitment and interim management, Adrian is widely regarded as a leading authority on “recruitment law”.

    More recently Adrian’s work on behalf of the ARC has achieved significant changes to the Agency Workers Regulations and has helped instigate the government’s latest consultation into Employment Tribunal procedures.

    Adrian is also a member of the Genesis Initiative, a cross parliamentary SME support group, and is one of two appointed representatives responsible for reporting on the Agency Workers Regulations to the European SME group UAPME, which feeds into the European Parliament.
