Terms for application and Membership
ARC membership is open to recruitment consultancies of most types whether operating as
employment businesses or agencies or otherwise.
Admission will be by invitation only and will be allowed after approval
by the Board of Directors, which may be declined at any stage prior to
formal approval.
Membership will be renewable annually on the anniversary of initial
joining date.
The minimum period of Membership is one year. Should you wish to cancel
your Membership during the application process a cancellation (joining
fee) will be made. No refund of Membership fee will be given once
membership has been confirmed in writing/email.
The Association Of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) is a club membership
organisation owned and operated by ARC Organisation LLP (AOL).
Membership of ARC does not constitute membership of AOL. Use of the
benefits referred to in the Information and Benefits form is subject to
any terms for use published from time to time.
ARC is not obliged to disclose to an applicant the reason for rejection of an application.
In making an application an applicant warrants that any information
provided by the applicant in connection with the application or any
matter related to it is full and accurate.
Upon acceptance of Membership ARC may publish the fact of Membership in
such media as the ARC considers fit including on any website operated
or sponsored by ARC.
Information supplied by an Applicant, excluding payment details which
may only be used for collection of payment of the Membership fee and
personal details, may not be used by ARC save for general marketing
purposes only (i.e. without disclosure of the specific source) unless
specific authority is otherwise provided.
By providing details of company contacts the applicant consents on
behalf of such contacts to the use, by ARC and any persons appointed
for the purpose, of the contact details when contacting the applicant
by any electronic means or otherwise.
Admission and Membership is subject to the above rules and such further
or amended rules of ARC as may be approved and published from time to
time.
Only the arrangements and benefits as set out or referred to in this
application form apply to the membership and no other rules, terms or
matters are implied.
A Member may be removed from Membership at any time by order of the Board of Directors in the event that:

An application is found to contain false or inaccurate information
which, if the true position were known at the relevant time, may have
resulted in application for Membership being refused
- Member or a person related to
the Member does anything which, in the reasonable opinion of the Board
of Directors, brings ARC or the recruitment industry into disrepute
- Member or a person related to
the Member uses the logo or brand of ARC directly or indirectly for the
benefit of any business or company that is not a Member (e.g. generally
on a website that relates to another business as well as the Member, or
by using the logo or brand in any representation that does not relate
solely to the Member’s business)
