ARC LLP was launched in March 2009 by Adrian Marlowe and Ravi Murphy, both directors in the recruitment law specialist Lawspeed. As membership grew, an Executive Committee, drawn from senior management roles within member companies, was established to ensure that the organisation follows a track that recruiters want and to provide input on key areas. This has the double benefit of ensuring that the organisation is run by recruiters for recruiters, yet operated by a professional administration team run by Adrian Marlowe and Ravi Murphy.

The combination of a committee drawn from highly experienced recruiters together with legal experts with real commercial hands on experience provides a powerful force tuned into the needs of recruiters in the 21st Century.

The Committee, which operates on a two tier basis in order to draw upon as much talent as possible, was selected from members volunteering for the role.
