The meetings are free for ARC members and £30+VAT for non-members. Non-members are very welcome to attend but are restricted to a maximum of two network meetings per calendar year.

In his speech at the Conservative Party conference, the Chancellor Phillip Hammond announced a review of the apprenticeship levy rules and to “engage with business on our plans for the long-term operation of the levy”.
Greg Dean will explain how recruitment businesses can benefit from the proposed changes, including making it possible for employers to share up to 25 per cent of their apprenticeship levy funds with businesses in their supply chain.
Greg came to the Civil Service ten years ago after 20 years in Further Education both as a College Director and as the joint owner of an Information Management Outsourcing Company that helped College’s in financial trouble. Greg initially acted as a Director in the National Employer Service and over the last 10 years has held many leadership roles but all involving employers and their workforce development involving Apprenticeships. Greg now leads the Large Employer Strategy for engagement with the largest of Apprenticeship Levy payers. Within this he also leads the Public Sector engagement on behalf of the National Apprenticeship Service.
Charlotte Black puts the case that now is the time to recognise the opportunity presented by the new apprenticeship standards. At a time when the recruitment industry is reportedly facing a shortfall of 20,000 people, Charlotte will explore the benefits of bringing fresh and exciting talent into the industry and how to retain and develop those already within it through apprenticeships.
Charlotte is Sales Director and Board member at Key Training, one of the top private training providers, who recruit for 16-18 year old Apprentices. She has worked in the Apprenticeship sector for nearly 10 years. Her passion is to create challenging strategies to ensure the growth of Apprenticeship recruitment and realise them through developing and motivating efficient, intelligent and fun sales teams’ engagement.
