As announced in the Autumn Budget, the government has now launched its consultation on extending off-payroll public sector tax rules (IR35) to the private sector.
Against the background that traditionally all businesses have been entitled to tax breaks, what are the issues and what would be the impact if the government extends the public sector rules as proposed? What would work best to retain to retain flexibility and profitability? Are there any other options? This will be the subject of our main discussion about this controversial tax
ARC will be submitting a formal response to the consultation, so the discussion will be an opportunity for your voice to be heard.
